FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gas-discharge radiating tube that can be used as electric signal or voltage indicator, for illuminating administration, domestic, and industrial locations, as well as for displaying character and color signals of industrial, process, and advertisement information on devices and panels has optically transparent envelope filled with working material. Tube also has at least two main electrodes and at least one auxiliary electrode which is fully or partially drawn between main electrodes in direction coinciding with that of electrical axis of discharge. Each electrode has separate terminal lead. At least one intermediate main electrode is fitted between main electrodes. EFFECT: improved efficiency and extended service life of gas- discharge tube. 2 cl, 3 dwg
