FIELD: catalytic reforming of hydrocarbon material within the range of boiling of gasoline fraction used at oil refineries in production of aromatic intermediate compounds for petrochemical industry or gasoline components with high detonation stability in engines. SUBSTANCE: catalyst contains 0.05-2 wt.-% of noble metal in the form of polymetallic, multigradient component and had metal of surface layer other than platinum. In this case, concentration of metal in surface layer is twice as large as that in central core of catalyst. EFFECT: higher efficiency and stability. 3 cl, 4 dwg
