FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: catalyst for catalytic naphtha reforming contains: A) noble metal, which contains one or more metals, selected from: platinum, palladium, rhodium, osmium and iridium; B) lanthanide family metal, containing one or more elements of the periodic table with atomic numbers 57-71; and C) substrate; with an average volume density of the catalyst constituting 0.300-0.62 gram per cubic centimetre, the atomic ratio of the lanthanide family metal : noble metal constitutes less than 1.3:1, with the lanthanide family metal being distributed in a 100-micron surface layer of the catalyst with the concentration, by more than one, but not more than by 1.75 fold higher than the concentration of the lanthanide family metal in the catalyst core.
EFFECT: increase of the catalyst efficiency.
