FIELD: transport engineering; traction drive control. SUBSTANCE: control is effected at action of flowing medium pressure. Drive is furnished with electromagnetic valves. In one circuit which uses pulse-frequency modulation short pulses for all fill factors are generated if feedback with electromagnetic valve or drive is provided. Electromagnetic control system has flip-flop which supplies current to solenoid. Shifting of solenoid excites counter-emf whose action onto magnetic flux and solenoid current are registered and used as feedback signal to reset flip-flop and cut off current immediately after operation of valve. In other circuit which uses pulse - width modulation computer control system generates command for definite length of pulse. Observation over position or pressure in drive is provided to generate feedback signal to computer. EFFECT: provision of smooth control of brake and clutch operation in automobile transmission owing to high degree of resolution without high increments at cutting-in. 25 cl, 10 dwg
