FIELD: devices for collecting liquid of lesser density floating on surface of other liquid. SUBSTANCE: system includes floating cages provided with floats over their sides for setting the working level adaptable for cage as a whole. Frame structure terminates in anti-friction slides for engagement of cage with ship's side and for up and down motion over this side. Ship's side is provided with guides having longitudinal chutes directed towards each other; sides of slides are received by these chutes at clearance. Located inside cage provided with front inlet and rear outlet is at least one suction device. Suction device is provided with floats for independent floating and suction nozzle engageable with respective pump. Cage is rather small in size which provided for easy storage and transportation. Such cages may be used on any type of ships irrespective of ballast and load waterlines. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 2 cl, 3 dwg
