FIELD: shipbuilding; building of planing vessels. SUBSTANCE: planing boat has hull with deck and two sides, as well as propulsion and control systems. Hull has flat bottom. Hull consists of fore portion made in form of isosceles triangle and rectangular aft portion. Hull has one or several wave guides, pair of wave splash deflectors, cabin and superstructure. Wave guide are embossed vertically in bottom along entire length between bottom and deck. Axial lines of bases of wave guides are symmetrically parallel to axial line of bottom. When boat is provided with one guide, center line of plane of its base coincides with center line of bottom. Longitudinal section of each guide has inclined upper line whose front portion is lowered and rear portion is raised. Splash deflector may have lower front portion and higher rear portion. Splash deflectors are made in form of inclined partitions inserted in surfaces of sides or are embossed on sides. When in static position, lowest point of front end of deflector lies in or below waterline. Plane of base of wave guide may be made with widened rear portion and narrowed front portion or in form of elongated rectangle.
