FIELD: production of copper foil from copper-containing materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes addition to copper-containing material of sufficient quantity at least one aqueous leaching solution; addition to aqueous leaching solution enriched with copper of sufficient quantity at least one of extractant insoluble in water; separation of extractant enriched with copper from aqueous leaching solution non containing copper; addition to extractant enriched with copper of sufficient quantity at least one remaining solution; separation of removing solution enriched with copper from extractant not containing copper; flowing of removing solution enriched with copper between anode and rotating cathode; application of sufficient voltage to anode and cathode for deposition of copper on cathode and continuous withdrawal of copper foil from cathode.
