FIELD: silty ground mining technology. SUBSTANCE: this unit can be used for recovering sapropels from bottom of water basins such as lakes or ponds and for cleaning water basins from bottom silt with resultant increased quality of sapropels and widening area of their application. Floating silt recovering unit has silt receiver, lever which is pivotally connected with sinking pile and with silt receiver, floating base, flexible pipeline or hose, pumping station, mechanism for working movement with power drive, pipeline for loading silt to barge, electrically-powered winch with ropes. Flexible pipeline or hose can be connected to silt receiver and pumping station. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 4 dwg
