FIELD: automobile disk brakes with sliding clamps. SUBSTANCE: brake has blocks whose side ends used at resting against first side of support and at application of tractive force to other side. Braking forces applied to central zone of block are used for turning the lining relative to point of attachment located on first side of support and for support of other side over tangent line forming obtuse angle with straight line connecting the points of attachment and support; central zone of block is located within this obtuse angle. EFFECT: avoidance of effect of deformation and increment in temperature on distribution of loads in transmitting the loads on support of block. 10 cl, 3 dwg 2i
