FIELD: textile industry; production of half-finished product of spinning in the form of roving. SUBSTANCE: for improving conditions of roving drawing which do not need rotation or reciprocation motions of considerable masses, roving has core consisting of natural fibers or their mixture with chemical fibers which is wound with thread or filament with winding pitch amounting up from 30 to 0.7 lm, where lm is modal length of fiber. Linear density of winding thread is within 2-10 tex. To produce roving, web coming from drawing device is wound with chemical thread coming off the immovable bobbin installed on hollow spindle and having diameter d = t/π where t is winding pitch.
