FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: roving is semifinished product of spinning and obtained by drawing of fibrous product (sliver) and subsequent fixing of mutual location of fibers. To ensure qualitative drawing of roving at its optimal strength it has core consisting of natural fibers or their mixture with chemical fibers and wound with free ends of its fibers. Pitch of weaving measures from 20 mm to 0.25 l_p, where l_p is modal length of fiber. To increase productivity of roving frame, weaving of web is effected due to slipping of fiber free ends over screw ribs made of insulation material on internal surface of forming funnel. Contact of fiber ends with funnel ribs is effected due to application of electric charges of opposite signs to surface of formed roving and to forming funnel. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
