FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: lignocellulose raw material is impregnated with monosulfite solution with no use of organic solvents. Impregnation can be performed in presence of quinone derivative or without it at temperature lower than cellulose cooking temperature. Impregnating solution may contain only a part of reagents required for cooling. Impregnation is followed by cooking that is carried out with water-alkali monosulfite solutions, organic solvents, and at least one quinone derivative. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency, improved regeneration of used substances, and simplified technology. 14 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
