GAS PRESSURE GOVERNOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: governor for automatically controlling gas pressure according to predetermined level before user in gas supply system with automatic cut-off of gas supply at time moment when gas pressure exceeds admissible values before user. SUBSTANCE: governor includes cut-off valve and valve of pressure reducer with common double-side seat. Gas pressure compensator includes spool whose diameter is equal to that of flow-through cross section of seat. Diaphragms of governor are made of polyimide material. Control cavities of diaphragms of cut-off valve and pressure reducer valve are mutually connected by means of passage in which jet is mounted. Assembly for fixing cut-off valve is in the form of central land with two grooves and fixing balls and it is provided with signalling device forming signal at operation of cut-off valve. Flat relief valve is arranged in outlet line after gas pressure reducer. Governor is placed in cabinet having cover with locking device. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced operational reliability, lowered mass and cost price. 12 cl, 4 dwg
