SUBSTANCE: device has first terminal of sample under investigation, second terminal of sample under investigation, measuring bench for communication mode conversion in order to keep communication mode by means of establishing call between first and second terminals, for conversion of reception and transmission modes according test in order to evaluate technical characteristics and to attenuate level of communication channel by means of setting communication channel level required for testing receiving characteristics. In addition device has control terminal which controls establishing communication which is initiated by measuring bench for communication mode conversion using conversion of transmission and receiving modes and setting communication channel level according to user's actions according to each measured element and given value, for control of second terminal during call initiating and processing of results of tests on evaluation of performance characteristics in communication mode. In addition device has unit for testing characteristics of transmission and receiving for running tests devoted to evaluation of performance characteristics of receiving and transmission according conversion of transmission and receiving modes.
