FIELD: equipment for plastic cold working of metals, may be used for surface plastic deformation of cylindrical parts. SUBSTANCE: machine has deforming rollers. Billet is positioned in central portions of headstock and tailstock, and deforming rollers are brought to billet for providing required tension. Faceplate is connected with headstock V-belt transmission pulley by means of stop screw. Upon actuation of drive screw engine, support and rolling head are moved in longitudinal direction. At the end of working stroke, adjustable pusher abuts against spring-biased stem, which rotates reducer output shaft through rocker arm, spring-loaded catch and ratchet wheel. As a result, four-faced headstock central portion and billet are rotated. To form helical track for improving working capacity of parts subjected to torsion, tension, compression and forming, faceplate is disconnected from pulley by means of stop screw and both engines are switched on to work the billet, with billet being rotated and support moved in longitudinal direction. Such construction allows part surface quality to be improved by forming stiffened layer with tracks of predetermined plastic path.
