FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is designed for damping vibrations with independently controlled load characteristic and rigidity. Device has housing, vibration damping support arranged in housing and vibration absorbing member placed in between which is enclosed in hermetically sealed space and is provided with saturated steam source, heat accumulator and liquid-saturated steam system with boundary formed on developed surface of heat accumulator. Device has no limitations as to its overall dimensions and shape an temperature conditions of operation, value of rigidity and load characteristics.
