FIELD: surgery. SUBSTANCE: valve support with axial bearing projections on one axial end is provided with textile covering. Bearing projections are positioned over circumference and rounded at vacant ends. Textile covering is elastic in at least one direction, and it has the form of bushing. It is pushed into circular member of device, two protruding axial ends of textile covering are turned inside out onto external surface of circular member and joined together by means of circular suture. Device intended for method realization has holder of material for covering of cardiac valve prosthesis and fastening facilities. Holder is made as two coaxial rings with central hole for holding of circular member along with covering. One of holder rings is provided with fasteners for one end of covering, while the other end, is fitted with clamping element for other end of covering.
