FIELD: processes and equipment for manufacture of suction layers for prosthesis and for coating of tubular bases.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing tubular member having continuous smooth coating of hardened elastic resin on outer surface thereof by forming continuous smooth tubular resin layer and attracting resin layer to surface of tubular member, onto which coat have to be applied, by applying suction force to region between resin layer and surface of tubular member, so that resin adheres to surface of tubular member; providing hardening of elastic resin for obtaining of ready product. Apparatus for manufacturing of suction layers has successively arranged coat application zone comprising chamber kept under pressure below atmospheric pressure and adapted for providing dosed dispensing of resin in melted state to coat application zone, heating zone arranged adjacent first zone and equipped with heaters, and feeding mechanism for moving of tubular member relative to coat application zone and heating zone. Method for forming of cap for distal end at open end of length of prefabricated tubular member may be used in prosthesis manufacture. Method involves providing length of prefabricated tubular member formed from elasticized textile material; attaching length of tubular member; twisting matrix member of reinforcing material relative to its central axis; providing embracing and forming member-matrix; feeding predetermined amount of resin into matrix cavity; forming outer contour of cap for distal end. Method of forming layer, which may be used for prosthesis, involves using punch and die, which are adapted for distributing of melted elastic resin in the form of layer over surface of tubular member of elasticized textile material.
EFFECT: provision for continuous coating of tubular bases with layer of elastic resin tightly adhering or glued to base, reduced cost for performing said process, in particular, for cases wherein base is elasticized porous textile material.
