FIELD: reconditioning of parts with large wear-out, for instance, beaters of hammer mills. SUBSTANCE: part is heated up after assembly with metal mold with the use of electrode that is brought into metal mold. Process of formation of slag bath is continued till flux and surface of part are melted. After this electrode is removed and liquid metal is poured. To increase productivity and prevent cooling of surface of part process of removal of electrode out of metal mold and pouring of molten metal into it should expediently be carried out simultaneously. Temperature in slag bath is kept above that of melting of metal since in opposite case melting of surface layer of part will not occur. After this electrode is taken out of metal mold and molten metal is poured into it out of melting pot. As a result of it poured metal mixes with molten metal of upper layer of part ensuring their perfect melting together. EFFECT: increased productivity and improved quality of reconditioned parts. 2 dwg
