FIELD: devices for clamping workpieces. SUBSTANCE: vice comprises a body with a fixed jaw. A movable jaw interacts with a hollow power screw via a nut. A hydraulic cylinder is connected by a plunger with an overload coupling. A stop with a through hole is installed in the movable jaw and is conjugated coaxially with a flexible member which has a through hole and acts as a hollow pusher. The piston of the hydraulic cylinder bears against the second end of the flexible member. Through holes of the stop and flexible member accommodate free-installed rod one end of which bears against the cylinder piston while the other one, against the arm of a rocker arm. The second arm of the rocker is connected by additional rod with travel indicator. EFFECT: improved design.
