FIELD: petrochemical synthesis. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of propylene, butylenes, and pentenes as well as high-octane gasoline fraction with low benzene content by catalytic conversion of light, heavy gas oil, vacuum distillation gas oil, or naphtha using ordinary or improved catalysts. Method consists in feeding crude hydrocarbon material into reaction zone containing solid catalyst, keeping hydrocarbon material in contact with catalyst in reaction zone under conditions favoring catalytic conversion of hydrocarbons into light olefins, removing converted reaction products from reaction zone, separating catalyst, and regenerating deactivated catalyst in regenerator. Distinguishing feature of method consists in that raw material contacts with catalyst in reactor with circulating fluidized bed of catalyst with residence time from 0.1 to 3 s. As raw materials for dehydration conversion, propane, isobutane, and naphtha are used. EFFECT: increased yield of light olefin hydrocarbons. 18 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 4 ex
