SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for converting hydrocarbons and includes feeding hydrocarbon, feeding a mixture of the first particles and the second particles from a regenerator to a transfer tank or riser reactor, where the first particles have a smaller average particle size and/or are less dense than the second particles. Includes supplying a carrier fluid to a transport container or lift reactor; recovering the overhead product from a transfer tank, where the overhead product contains a carrier fluid, the second particles and the first particles, or recovering the overhead product from a riser reactor, wherein the overhead product contains a carrier fluid or a reaction product of the carrier fluid, the second particles and the first particles ; supplying the head product to the integrated separation tank, wherein the integrated separation tank includes: a housing; a device for separating solid particles, one or more cyclones, an internal reservoir, an annular region between the housing and the internal reservoir for receiving the solid fraction containing first particles; steam outlet, for extracting the steam fraction; the first solid particles outlet in fluid communication with the annular region; and the second solid particles outlet in fluid communication with the internal reservoir; removing solid particles from the annular region through the first solid particles outlet; and recovering the separated second particles through the second solid particles outlet. The invention also relates to a variant of a method for converting hydrocarbons and a system for cracking hydrocarbons.

EFFECT: increase in the overall conversion and yield of light olefins, an increase in the ability to process heavier raw materials.
