FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; piston engine-compressor unit. SUBSTANCE: gas supply system has timing gear installed on operating cylinders, gas generator connected to outlet branch pipe of operating cylinders and pipes to supply liquid fuel to and take off gas from gas generator. System installed on engine-compressor unit has starting bottle and pump-regulator delivering fuel to gas generator. Shutoff valves on gas takeoff pipes provide possibility of delivering gas to regulator, timing gear and starting bottle. EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation of proposed system. 4 cl, 10 dwg
