FIELD: instruments, in particular, for testing and monitoring power equipment, checking operation modes of turbines, engines and compressors. SUBSTANCE: device detects mechanical flaws in rotor blades of rotating turbine by means of generation of eddy currents depending on mechanical integrity of blade. Level of eddy currents depends on geometric characteristics of magnetic circuit (sleeve) of transducer, in particular, its length and thickness, and length of measuring coil. Goal of invention is achieved by optimal choice of ratio of sleeve length to length of measuring coil within range of 0.8-2.0. EFFECT: increased sensitivity. 4 dwg
