FIELD: agriculture, in particular, equipment for combined soil cultivation and sowing in zones subjected to wind erosion. SUBSTANCE: shank battery has shaft carrying spherical disks and tines mounted between spherical disks. Fertilizer and seed guides are fixed on tines. Each seed guide is divided into two parts positioned adjacent to rear side of tip. Tip working surfaces are defined by convex parts of truncated spherical segments and faced one toward another, to fertilizer and seed guides. Such construction and arrangement of shank battery parts allows seeding depth to be uniform along the whole length of compressed bed. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and improved erosion control. 3 dwg
