FIELD: food and pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: biologically active substances are obtained from sea buckthorn raw - fruits and leaves pulp or their mixture by extraction with 90-96% ethyl alcohol at its boiling point under vacuum. Obtained extract is diluted with distilled water. Method provides preparing lipid fraction and concomitant carotinoids, chlorophylls and water-soluble biologically active substances simultaneously. The end product exhibits a decreased acid number and does not contain harmful impurity traces. EFFECT: improved method preparing, enhanced quality of the end product. 1 tbl
