FIELD: timber treating machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: this is also used for removing remaining knots from logs. Machine is provided with regulator of timber moving speed. Rotating heads of processing mechanism of machine are arranged along longitudinal axis of frame with displacement at equal pitch relative to each other. Axes of rotation of heads relative to longitudinal axis of frame are oriented at α≤90^°.. Timber moving speed regulator is installed at side of forward head of processing mechanism as to timber travel direction. Speed regulator is made in the form of device with reciprocating motion which is connected with abut. This abut interacts with end face of timber piece. Working stroke of abut is equal to positioning pitch of rotating head of processing mechanism. Aforesaid embodiment of machine allows for increasing its productive capacity together with reduction of its overall dimensions. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
