FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus consists of a casing-scoop deepened in ground. Upright box combining aeration system and all air conduits into a single system is disposed in the middle part of scoop abutting on outer side wall of casing. Recycled air is moistened with steam in the box through steam nozzle and partially ejected. Air streams entering collecting and incoming air conduits move concurrently to provide uniform distribution of air and create effective microbiological process of decomposing pectin substances joining fibers of bast crop with stem. In this case, flax straw is converted into stock when warmed to optimal temperature 40 C and kept at that temperature which is further lowered until final condition of stock is achieved at air humidity 100%, while original moisture content in flax straw rises to 100%. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency. 3 dwg
