FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: the method is performed by applying the dew retting technique. It includes flaxstraw spreading upon slowly moving multiple- stage conveyer at raw material moistening level being about 50-80% at 18 C, not less. It, moreover, includes enriching the mass with the spores of the main pectin-dissolving fungi types and stimulating the maceration process. Stimulation is conducted by the balanced supplementation of nitric nutrition being insufficient for microorganisms' vital activity as ammonium nitrate solution at 0.9-1.2% concentration. EFFECT: the method enables to decrease water expenses against water retting by 6 times and against roll retting by 1.5 times, decrease energy expenses, provide tissue maceration under aerobic conditions by microflora being at a maximum close to real complexes, provide fiber production at optimal sort values, shorten the duration of natural process by several times, exclude an impact of unfavorable climatic conditions, perform computerized automatization of technological modes and operation control.
