FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has storage unit for character image data, storage unit for image elements data, first and second reading units, parallel-serial converter, output unit and unit for video signal generation. Goal of invention is achieved by introduced mode data generator and design of parallel-serial converter providing possibility to store image elements data for given number of elements of image per each character.
