SUBSTANCE: claimed alloy comprises (wt %): 2.6-3.3 copper; 0.01-0.06 titanium; 1.8-2.3 lithium; 0.06-0.14 zirconium; 0.008-0.1 beryllium; 0.005-0.05 cerium; 0.001- 0.15 iron; 0.0001-0.1 silicon; 0.0001-0.1 manganese; 0.0001-0.25 zinc; 0.0001-0.01 magnesium; 0.0001-0.05 chromium; 0.0001-0.02 sodium; 0.0002-0.0005 sulfur; and the aluminium balance.
