FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device for automatic sampling of water on site has sampler attached to container. Sampler is set in motion with the use of electric motor housed in container. Sampler is pump which suction side is linked to sampling site and which pressure side is coupled to sample collector. Container is floating one. Pump is positioned inside tubular part open towards bottom of container. Electric motor is anchored to upper section of tubular part. Pump is put on shaft of electric motor inside tubular part. Device provides for collection of both single and averaged samples with undisturbed structure of water from different depths. Device makes it possible to take samples locally and accurately in vertical direction, for instance, in layers of water with low content of oxygen and to observe changes that affect quality of water in vertical direction.
