FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: sample collecting probe is placed in a pipeline and its input is directed upstream. The probe is then connected to a tube with a tap for manual sampling or an automatic sampling device and the sample is collected in a sample receiver. Part of the liquid stream from the pipeline which is collected through the probe is directed through a tube fitted a liquid flow regulator which acts as a check valve. If the tube has parallel connection with the pipeline, the regulator is fitted on a section of the pipe in the direction of flow after the point for collecting samples from the tube in the sample receiver. Part of the pipeline stream is constantly passed through the cavity of the probe.
EFFECT: high representativeness of the collected sample.
