FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to equipment intended for use in process of condensing multiple-component steam-and-gas mixtures with various temperatures of saturating components. This air-cooled condenser can be utilized in oil extraction process for condensation of mixture of gasoline vapor and steam with possible air addition in process. Heat-exchanging section of condenser is made in the form of tube banks successively connected through headers. Headers are provided with pipe connections for branching out condensate. Number and diameter of tubes in each tube bank are determined from conditions of maintaining one and same mass velocity of steam-and-gas mixture at inlet in all tubes of heat-exchanging section. Fog creation is prevented by heating of steam-and-gas mixture in intermediate header to temperature above dew-point or it can be made by delivery of heating steam to lower header. This can be done through ejector. Application of aforesaid embodiment of air-cooled condenser ensures complete condensation of steam from multiple-component steam-and-gas mixture.
