FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to method, tubular blank 15 created by winding is preliminarily heated through uniformly both internally and externally by means of radiating heating elements arranged over circumference of tubular blank. Then, heated tubular blank 15 is installed in formation device. Preliminarily formed blank 16 is transferred to article formation device. Both aforesaid devices are installed successively on rotary press. Spacious cooling of formed article for fixing of obtained dimensions is performed on unit which is located close to rotary press and which repeats configuration and dimensions of ready article. Sectional die for formation of blank is secured in movable body 1 of press dies. Die is provided with piston 4 and extractor 7 which both are installed on centering stem 3. Piston and extractor are interconnected by pin 6. Limiters 9 restrict their turning. Heated punch 10 is secured on table of rotary press and has spring-biased crosspiece located inside it. Arms of crosspiece interact with movable removing bush 13. Punch has central hole 14 for receiving centering stem 3 and for bringing its action on crosspiece. Installed on table of same rotary press is article formation device having sectional die and extractors. Die is located in support which is fastened on table of rotary press. Coaxially installed spring-biased extractors are interconnected by their tail-pieces. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 7 dwg
