FIELD: manufacture of fittings used for reliable operation of pressure plants; equipment for production of nitrates of cellulose, varnishes, enamels, celluloids and mastics. SUBSTANCE: safety valve body is provided with outlet and inlet branch pipes terminating in nozzles which are shut-off by means of shut-off member. Cavity of body is separated from cavity of spacer connected with liquid source by means of partition through which rod is passed. Rod is provided with adjusting member, static load and piston skirt. Mounted in seat of piston rod projection is hollow shut-off member made in the form of hemisphere. Lateral surface of piston skirt is provided with circular projection having longitudinal slots, through longitudinal holes being provided in base. Hollow rod is provided with through ports in its wall. Ports are used for communication of cavity of spacer with cavities of rod and shut-off member. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
