FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: in particular, it is a question of production of grainy gun cartridge pyroxyline powders. Process comprises mixing and plasticizing of components, compression and cutting of powder elements, removal of solvent, drying, sorting, surface treatment, stirring, and packing. For that end, cellulose nitrated with nitrogen content above 212.0 NO/g are used, plasticizing is performed with acetone-water mixture, and solvent is removed via three-stage distillation in aqueous medium at stirring.
