FIELD: motion in air and hovering above ground. SUBSTANCE: flying vehicle is attached on pilot or on remote control device. Flying vehicle is provided with supporting device and driving device with piston engine connected with impeller of vane compressor by means of drive shaft. Flying vehicle is provided with at least two extension pipes terminating in nozzles located at side near cargo or pilot above common center of gravity of flying vehicle. Lift force is created through change of direction of outward flow of air which is achieved through control of the nozzle position. Vane compressor is provided with suction diffuser located horizontally above pilot or cargo. Drive shaft of vane compressor drive is mounted practically in vertical position. Flow of air created by compressor impeller escapes through extension pipes at subsonic speed. EFFECT: low mass; high efficiency; low consumption of fuel; increased endurance. 22 cl, 17 dwg
