FIELD: bore-hole drilling technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to drilling directed bore-holes and to rotary drilling bit intended for drilling underground curvilinear bore-holes. In one version, drilling bit has side section, multiplicity of cutting members which create side force brought to bear on drilling bit in response to rotation of drilling bit in bore-hole. Also provided are supporting means. Supporting means are installed on side section of drilling bit and are in contact with wall of bore-hole in process of drilling. Supporting means take reactive force which is produced from bore-hole in response to action of side force. Reactive force is directed to position which is adjacent to upper end of drilling bit side section relative to bore-hole. Reactive force and aforesaid side force create together downward directed moment relative to aforesaid drilling bit. This downward directed moment counteracts upward directed moment in bore-hole. Force component of upward directed moment is guided towards flexible hinge. Upper end of supporting means relative to bore-hole is located relatively closer to cutting members so that value of downward directed moment and value of upward directed moment in bore-hole are minimized.
