FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: gas-turbine engine is intended for conversion of thermal energy into mechanical one. The gas-turbine engine uses a drain valve having two sections of the body, which forms the path of gas passage through compressor stages. One of the sections is movable aside from the second section with creation of a hole between the two sections. The movable section has one or more brackets with one or more rollers attached to the bracket ends. The fixed section has one or more guides for the rollers, which move when force is applied to the movable section, making the rollers move on the guides and separating the two sections, which results in opening of the valve. EFFECT: reduced force required for opening of the valve. 3 cl, 8 dwg
