FIELD: modular pressure pickups used in production lines. SUBSTANCE: pickup with flame extinguishing adaptor senses working fluid pressure by means of diaphragm tightly joined with adaptor. Diaphragm transmits working fluid pressure acting upon its outer surface. Sensing member of pickup forms output signal corresponding to pressure of working fluid. Adaptor includes chamber on its outer surface and duct extending from chamber until cone opening inside pickup. Duct has first portion that adjoins to cone opening, has shape allowing to receive inlet tube sealed by means of cone packing and passes until sensing member and second flame isolating portion opened in chamber. Second portion of duct is shaped in such a way that to provide flame isolation of cone packing from working fluid. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of pickup operation. 10 cl, 4 dwg
