FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: transducer measures pressure via measurement of capacitance between two capacitive plates. Change of pressure is manifested in the form of change of capacitance. Parasitic capacitance interferes in mentioned measurement. It springs up between capacitor plates and surrounding material. Given transducer decreases parasitic capacitance accurately maintaining equality of potentials between capacitor plates and surrounding material responsible for parasitic capacitance.
