FIELD: agriculture and ornamental horticulture, in particular, protection of plants from injurious insects. SUBSTANCE: insect trap has flat paper base with both sides coated with flower gamma colored covering which is further coated with adhesive. Color of covering is selected in accordance with kind of insect sensitive to such color. Paper base is provided with slot extending from periphery to center and having width at least equal to base thickness. Each side is coated with covering of one color or several different colors, such as yellow and/or blue. Spirit lacquer and entomological colorless transparent adhesive are applied in sequence to colored covering.
