FIELD: immunology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transferring a bioactive compound, usually antigen, in animal body. For that, effective quantity of bioactive compound is placed into microcapsules up to 10 mcm in size made of biologically compatible indifferent material. Effective amount of these microcapsules is introduced, mainly orally, into immunized animals. According to invention, material of microcapsules is biologically active polymer or copolymer being capable of passing through gastrointestinal tract or of localizing on a mucous surface. Microcapsules do not undergo biodegradation or undergo it to an insignificant extent. The latter ensures transfer of bioactive compound onto peyer's patches or other mucous membrane-associated lymphatic tissues. Microcapsules are incorporated therein with no loss in activity and in amounts sufficient to stimulate system immunogenesis or immune response of mucous membranes. Because of pulsing release of agent, system immunity is induced and immune system of mucous membranes activated. EFFECT: enhanced effect of bioactive compound. 16 cl, 1 dwg, 19 tbl, 12 ex
