FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: ski pole with a heated handle is designed for a biathlonist working hand. The surface of the handle is in the form of a moulded print made by a gloved hand of a biathlonist in the position of a firm grasp of the handle. There is a groove in the handle on the entire area of the projection of the pointer finger. It is completely and firmly filled with an open heating element connected to a heating energy source, located inside the cavity of the pole in the handle region and turned on by a switch mounted in the upper end of the handle. The heating element can reach a temperature up to +42…+45°C and keep it for a period of at least 120 minutes.
EFFECT: prevention of frostbite of the fingers of the biathlonist working hand, which increases the speed and accuracy of biathlonist's shooting targets using a rifle during ski races in frosty weather.
