FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: method involves attachment of cylindrical hollow member in mold so that its external part forms inlet system. During casting, nozzle of teeming device comes in contact with member external end face. Melt is poured into mold through nozzle channel of hollow member and mold gate. After completion of pouring, nozzle is pressed to member with force exceeding the force of contact in the course of pouring. Member is displaced inside mold to shut off mold inlet. Three other versions of the method are described in the invention description. EFFECT: precluded breakage of mold round inlet opening and getting of molding sand to casting. 13 cl, 23 dwg
