FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed rear view mirror unit has several collecting optical members and at least intermediate optical member. Each collecting optical member is either collecting lens or concave mirror forming at least one optical component. Intermediate optical member is either collecting optical member serves as image forming optical member arranged outside the automobile designed for forming first inverted image which is either on intermediate optical member and near member thus forcing intermediate optical member to direct rays from first image forming optical member to second image forming optical member. Second image forming optical member is arranged in automobile and devices secondary direct image which is one last collecting optical member of mirror unit or near it.
