FIELD: waste paper processing technology. SUBSTANCE: according to method, paper products such as fine paper for towels, fine soft paper for handkerchiefs, paper for swaddling clothes, napkin paper are produced from fibres of newspaper waste. These fibres contain oils of printing ink type. Process of producing hygienic paper includes suspending of newspaper waste, introduction of surface-active substance and ferment taken from group consisting of cellulose, hemicellulose and lipase. Hygienic paper is produced with basis weight of 3.2-18.2 kg per ream. Hygienic paper product contains cellulose fibres. 80% of these fibres are coarse fibres and their specific weight is more than 18 mg/100 m. According to aforesaid method, newspaper waste fibres and contaminating substances are processed separately and due to that fibres become softer when tried to the touch. Operation of paper-making machine with this kind of paper mass is more efficient, thus allowing for production of higher quality articles. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 46 cl, 1 dwg, 3 tbl, 3 ex
