PROCESS OF LOOSE MATERIAL DRYING, PREDOMINANTLY GRAIN, AND PLANT FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: drying of grain and seeds of cereal crops. SUBSTANCE: process of loose material drying includes preliminary heating and drying of material, final drying and cooling. Preliminary and final drying of material is carried out by mixture of fresh and spent heat transfer agents used during preliminary heating and cooling. Modules of preliminary heating and final drying are disconnected from plant depending on drying condition. Plant for implementation of process has source of heat transfer agent, preliminary heating module, drying module, final drying module, cooling module, first loading module, ring collector of heat transfer agent and second loading module. Each unit of preliminary, final drying and cooling has vertical cylindrical body with shutters and tube with shutters for distribution of heat transfer agent installed inside body concentric on it and forming circular chamber with body. Redistributor of flow of material is mounted at middle of height of circular chamber. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of drying of materials, combination of advantages of co-current and circulation dryers, integration of drying plant and storage of intermediate holding of material, disconnection in case of necessity of modules of preliminary heating and final drying, together or separately, both under recirculation and co-current conditions. 18 cl, 16 dwg, 1 tbl
