FIELD: sound reproduction systems used for influencing mental and physiologic states of patients. SUBSTANCE: loudspeakers are installed in parallel, reflector acoustically coupled with loudspeakers is mounted, and system is connected to sound source. Reflector is spaced from loudspeaker at distance sufficient to excite standing wave at fundamental frequency for given pair and its overtones. Resonance-tuned amplitude-frequency response of system is obtained by adjustment within patientТs response range at approximately equal amplitudes of peak values in the range of 102-104 Hg. Upon adjustment, system is used for listening to music. EFFECT: improved sound characteristics due to shaping spherical directivity pattern of system, extending frequency response, and obtaining resonance-tuned sound characteristics. 2 dwg
